Hello-o-o…
Echo?
Where did you go-o-o…
Oh, owe, o.
A little girl had been on a journey through a foreign land that she had been afraid to navigate alone, though that is exactly how she found herself. She tip-toed around obstacles, afraid to disrupt anyone. She had asked for help once, but the man had told her she was trespassing, so she continued on her way. Wherever she went, that clumsy girl couldn’t help but knock things over. She wasn’t a small girl. She was awkward….she was clearly lost…
One day the little girl happened upon a cave. She was so grateful, because the terrain had been rough and the weather had been harsh and she was craving shelter and rest and a place to DEBRIEF. In fact she had prayed and cried out and BEGGED for it.
“Helllllllllo!!” She screamed into the cave, hoping that it was either uninhabited or perhaps home to a new friend.
“OH- OH- OH~”. She heard echo back. At first she was so excited just that someone had heard her! “Oh, oh, oh?” She wondered to herself. What must that mean?
“How are YOU?” She asked…screaming as loudly as she could into the cave. She wasn’t sure if whoever was inside would be able to hear her….how far away they were…
“You! Ewe! Ooh! EW!” She heard respond.
Oh no! She thought to herself…ew? As in “Ecchlhh….blech?” Is that what they had meant? She hadn’t meant to offend anyone. Putting her head down she walked away. She was sorry.
