Secret Keeper

I’m a secret,
I’m your friend.
You think I’m fair-weather
but I’m here from beginning to end.
I require only one thing,
it’s the price of admission.
I don’t care that you may be fishin’ for fiction,
I’m a secret..
just keep it
and practice at pretend.
If lyin’ is tyin’
your gut into knots?
that’s your prob
not mine,
be a good little robot.
Walk in a straight line
don’t talk
you remember when you wish you forgot?
Do what I tell you
or I’ll dispel you
I’ll take the devil that sits eye level and
and bring you to an end.
Once I own you,
you’re an alone you,
there’s nothing you can do.
